Kim Kardashian just joked about her three divorces at someone else's wedding
It's been a very busy week for Kim Kardashian, who attended not one but two A-lister weddings. First she mingled with Nicole Richie and Emma Roberts at long-time pal and former frenemy, Paris Hilton's wedding, and over the weekend she witnessed sister Kourtney Kardashian give Travis Barker a very public lap dance at the wedding of Simon Huck (who owns a PR firm in LA).
But, Kourtney and Travis' PDA wasn't the only thing making headlines after Simon's big day. In fact, Kim herself had a very memorable moment of her own, as she gave a speech to celebrate the nuptials – mentioning her three divorces. Because, what better way to celebrate someone's wedding than to talk about divorce, right?
Speaking to the crowd, the 41-year-old said, "When Simon asked me to talk [at the wedding], I was a little bit confused because I haven't really figured out this marriage thing myself," referencing her marriages to Damon Thomas, Kris Humphries and Kanye West. "So I don't know what kind of advice you think I'm gonna give to you guys tonight."
She continued, "I have learned a lot, and I have some tips for you guys — aesthetically," before advising the couple to move away from the officiant when they share their first kiss. "It ruins all the pictures, and sometimes that's all you've got!" she joked.
But, she ended the speech with a heartfelt message to the newlyweds. "I have known you, Simon, for 15 plus years. Phil, I’ve known you for a long time, and I know that this is going to work. I know real love when I see it."
