One particular 2022 Kim K moment set to feature in The Kardashians is her now-famous "nobody wants to work" interview. In a new trailer for season two, fans have caught a glimpse at how Kim reacted to backlash over the comments - with more to come once the series airs on 22nd September.
To recap, back in March Kim appeared in a Variety interview alongside mum Kris and sisters Kourtney and Khloé. Sharing tips for female entrepreneurs, Kim was seen telling viewers, "I have the best advice for women in business. Get your f***ing ass up and work. It seems like nobody wants to work these days."
Kim's comments sparked backlash at the time, with critics calling the SKIMS founder out of touch and pointing out her privileged background. The 41-year-old later appeared on Good Morning America to clarify the intention behind her advice, saying, "It wasn’t a blanket statement towards women or to feel like I don’t respect the work or think that they don’t work hard." She went on," I know that they do. It was taken out of context, but I’m really sorry if it was received that way."
Now, a new trailer for The Kardashians S2 has offered a look at how Kim responded to the backlash. One clip shows Kim and Khloé discussing the criticism while sat in a car. Kim asks Khloé, "You saw all of the backlash on the Variety interview?" with Khloé replying, "No one sympathises with you."
Kim then appears to share her views on the criticism, heard saying, "I'm mortified. I do understand why people were upset." Have a watch of the moment in the trailer below:
The Kardashians season two will be available to watch on Disney+ from 22nd September.
