Khloé Kardashian just wore an underboob *and* ab-baring cut out dress
Another day, another celebrity cut out dress - or so it feels. But this, my friends, isn't just any regular 'negative space' news story. No sir. Today, we're focusing on Khloé Kardashian's breathtakingly beautiful CFDA dress, with a cut out so daring, it's both an underboob and ab-baring situation.
First, let me set the scene: last night, the best in the biz gathered in New York City for the 2022 CFDA Fashion Awards. From designers to style icons, the red carpet was awash with incredible style moments and, to be honest, we'd expect no less from such an event. While I could wax lyrical about allll the amazing outfits from the eve (Kim K! Julia Fox!), the look that stole the show was, undeniably, Khloé Kardashian's LaQuan Smith dress.
The Good American co-founder opted for a bronze, form-fitting gown featuring a high neck and a single sleeve, coupled with a long flowy train. The silky fabric creates an almost hypnotic molten metal effect that we could just stare at all day long. In the center of the torso, the dress features a mega diagonal cut out starting at the underarm and extending all the way across to her hip, revealing underboob and abs in the process.
Khlo teamed the killer 'fit with a slicked-back bun, a fierce cat-eye, and the *longest* neutral mani.
See the look for yourself:
Amazing, right?
Khloé attended the event with sisters Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, and Kim's shapewear brand, SKIMS, even received the Inaugural Innovation Award. In her acceptance speech, Kim explained the importance of promoting inclusive fashion sizing and design. "We have put a strong emphasis, since our launch, on continuing to shape the industry to embrace size equality and diversity as a fixture and not just a trend, and I see so many of you are doing just that."
