This week has been a good week. Boris announced that pubs are to re-open from 4 July, Burger King has brought back its dreamy Halloumi King burger, and now KFC has some smashing news for us.
KFC is bringing back Chicken Tuesday! This special, special day means that fans of fried chicken can get nine pieces of chicken for just £5.99 every Tuesday for the next eight weeks! That’s like, erm, well, I don’t actually know how much that means each piece of chicken costs, but it’s not very much, okay?
This mouth-watering deal is available from Tuesday 30 June via take away – including drive thru – until 18 August.
Anyone else planning on getting involved in this deal every single week it’s available? Yup, us too.
Prefer your fast food cheese-based? Let’s go back to that Burger King halloumi burger, shall we?
The Halloumi King is back, and this time it is available with bacon, which is sandwiched between two golden-fried halloumi patties, and served in a brioche bun with lettuce, mayo and a fresh slice of tomato.
Katie Evans, marketing director at Burger King UK, said: “We are so pleased to be able to start expanding our menu again as we continue to ease out of lockdown with our phased re-opening plan.
“You asked, we listened and now we can finally bring a dose of much-needed joy with the return of our very popular Halloumi King Burger and brand-new Halloumi Bacon Burger, just in time for summer.”
Thank you, KFC and thank you Burger King – you have made this week a real corker!
