KFC Luxury Holiday Cabin Has A Fireplace That Smells Like Fried Chicken

Each festive season, KFC attempts to steal the thunder of the turkey by rolling out fried chicken-scented fire logs.

This year, however, the fire logs evoking whiffs of Colonel Sanders’ secret recipe of 11 herbs and spices will be taking the backburner, quite literally.

The eco-friendly firewood substitutes now set the mood for an all-new Kentucky Fried Chicken Firelog Cabin that comfortably sleeps eight. The luxury log cabin is surrounded by 200-acres of a protected nature reserve in none other than Kentucky, of course.

KFC Bucket lamp posts line the entrance of this luxury accommodation, which is decorated with Colonel Sanders-fronted accents, including a“Colonel Bearskin rug” by the fried chicken-scented indoor fireplace, says KFC.

The 7,000 sq ft cabin consists of four bedrooms, multiple open living room areas, a built-in bar, a theatre room, a kitchen and dining area, an outdoor kitchen, a pool, and a hot tub.

To crisp up the experience, KFC’s Head Chef Chris Scott will cook up a private five-course dinner, where KFC’s iconic mains and sides will be transformed into gourmet delights like a Finger Lickin’ Good Charcuterie; The OG Original Recipe Chicken Roulade; and Sweet, Southern & Sticky Toffee Pudding. To wing a three-day, two-night getaway at the vacation spot, hopeful guests can scan the unique QR code on the packaging of the latest KFC Firelogs, or install the KFC ordering app before December 31, which is free. Sadly, the competition is only open for customers in the U.S.
