The French company has been putting sustainability at the forefront of its business strategy for several years now, developing a an environmental profit and loss tool back in 2011, where it quantifies its impact on nature and the environment (specifically, carbon emissions, water consumption, air and water pollution, land use and waste production). The company hopes to reduce its environmental footprint by 40 per cent by 2025.

Meanwhile, another French business topped the list overall.
