Kensington Palace has treated royal fans to two more candid photos of Prince William playing with his three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, after first posting a snap of the four Cambridges posing together for Father's Day (21 June).

The new pictures were all taken by the Duchess of Cambridge herself, as has become tradition when it comes to photos of the royal children.

In the new photos, posted late on Sunday evening, we see Will and the three Cambridge kids rolling around on the lawn at their Norfolk home of Amner Hall, where the family have been spending lockdown. All of the royals are in in hysterics, and clearly having a wonderful time together.

These latest pictures were shared as a special thank you to royal followers who sent their birthday wishes to Prince William, who also turned 38 on Sunday (21 June). The Duke of Cambridge's birthday was a double celebration this year, since Father's Day happened to fall on it too.

The accompanying caption reads: "Thank you everyone for your very kind wishes on The Duke of Cambridge's birthday today! 🎂 🎈."

Followers were clearly delighted by the new snaps, and the post has since racked up well over a million likes.

However, the original portrait of the three Cambridge children and Prince William has so far proven even more popular, gaining well over two million likes at the time of writing.

The caption reads: "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share a new picture of The Duke with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis ahead of The Duke’s birthday tomorrow.

"The picture was taken earlier this month by The Duchess."

Wishing a happy birthday – and Father's Day – to the Duke of Cambridge!
