Who are the honorees of the Kennedy Center Honors 2023?
In June, the organization announced the list of 2023 honorees with Billy Crystal, Renée Fleming, Barry Gibb, Queen Latifah and Dionne Warwick.
“When we started on this journey decades ago, we were often told, ‘No’. No, you won’t be able to leave New Jersey. No, if you rap you can’t sing. No, singers can’t become actresses. No, actors can’t also produce. To now be recognized amongst so many multihyphenates feels unbelievable, not for just me and my team, but for our community,” Latifah told the Kennedy Center Honors’ website.
Past honorees include Debbie Allen, Dick Van Dyke, Fred Astaire, Ella Fitzgerald and more.
Who are the performers of the Kennedy Center Honors 2023?
The list of performers for this year has not been yet revealed. In the past, the organization has tapped Sheryl Crow, the Highwomen, BeBe and CeCe Winans, Martin Short, Matthew Broderick and more.
