It's been a fair few weeks since Kendall Jenner practically broke the internet with that wedding guest dress – yep, you know the one. But, that doesn't mean the drama surrounding the now-infamous, cut-out gown is any closer to ending. In fact, talk of the dress has recently been reignited on social media once again, with Kendall herself finally weighing in on things.
To recap, back in November, Kendall took to Instagram to share a snap from pal Lauren Perez's wedding. In the pics, the 26-year-old wears a very sexy black dress by Mônot, featuring diamond-shaped cut-outs down the front, accompanied by a larger cut-out panel across the stomach.
The dress was quite the statement, and it didn't take long for fans (and critics) of the model to share their very honest thoughts, with several people branding the outfit 'inappropriate' for a wedding guest.
Now, a few weeks on, Kendall has responded to the claims after bff Lauren shared another photo of the dress on her own Instagram. "The greatest night of 2021!" Lauren wrote on Instagram, to which one fan commented "Inappropriate outfit at wedding @kendalljenner I'm embarrassed for you #cringe". Sticking up for the model, a fan responded: "If the bride herself doesn't gaf [give a f*ck] why do you care? Relax".
Lauren herself then replied to the comments, saying "Tell em! SHE LOOKED STUNNING AND I LOVED IT!" prompting Kendall to finally add that she had "obvi asked" for her "approval in advance". Since then, comments on the post have been disabled – but, not before we grabbed a screenshot of Kendall's response.
So, there you have it!
