Kendall and Kylie Jenner accused of cultural appropriation over 'Chinese takeout' bag

It seems that wherever the Jenner sisters go, drama follows — and the duo are embroiled in a new controversy over the latest collection in their clothing line Kendall + Kylie.

The sisters released “Drop Three,” a limited edition collection available at Saks Fifth Avenue. But amongst the clothes and accessories, the sisters are facing backlash for their “Lee” leather clutch.

The bag, which resembles a Chinese takeout box, is emblazoned with a red tiger and the word “KK Express Los Angeles.” Critics called out the duo for cultural appropriation.

Some noted that take-out boxes in Asia look nothing like the product the sisters are selling and that their bag looks suspiciously similar to Kate Spade’s “Hello Shanghai Cruz” bag from their Fall 2014 collection.

The “Lee” leather clutch has been pulled from both the Kendall +Kylie site and from Saks Fifth Avenue. However, this isn’t the first time the Jenner sisters have been accused of appropriation. Just last month the reality stars were slammed for a deleted Instagram post that appears to rip off Chola culture. The two were also accused of stealing the likeness of a few musicians and rappers when they released shirts with images of Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Notorious B.I.G and Tupac, to name a few, and sold the “vintage shirts” at $125 a pop.

“I am not sure who told @kyliejenner and @kendalljenner that they had the right to do this,” wrote Biggie’s mother Voletta Wallace in an Instagram post. “The disrespect of these girls to not even reach out to me or anyone connected to the estate baffles me. I have no idea why they feel they can exploit the deaths of 2pac and my son Christopher to sell a t-shirt. This is disrespectful , disgusting, and exploitation at its worst!!!”
