Kendall Jenner trolled as fans uncover her ‘REAL’ acne treatment: 'As if she actually uses Proactiv!'
Kendall Jenner has been blasted on social media after fans were left unconvinced she uses the acne products she has been promoting.
The supermodel came under fire earlier this week after her “raw and personal” announcement turned out to be an advert for Proactiv acne cream, naming her the face of the skin care brand.
However, things took an even worse turn for the reailty star when fans dug up old interviews in which members of the Kardashian-Jenner family speak about how their go-to dermatologist has helped the model with her skin.
Fans uncovered a 2015 interview in which Jenner’s younger sister Kylie told how the family dermatologist Christie Kidd had “cured” her sister’s acne.
Speaking to The New York Times, she said: "We have a family dermatologist, Christie Kidd in Beverly Hills. My sister Kendall had really bad acne when she was younger, and she really cleared it up. I thought, ‘Well if she cured Kendall, I should start to visit her.’”

Other users claimed Jenner’s sister Khloe Kardashian spoke about her on season one of the show, claiming she told a contestant that she would be getting the “same treatment as Kendall Jenner”, with a dermatologist.
Outraged social media users blasted the star online, with one hitting out: “100% Kendall Jenner, with the Kar-Jenner family dermatologist, never used Proactiv.”
If you watch episode 1 of Khloe's 'Revenge Body' the girl has really bad acne and goes to this dermatologist and gets £200 facials, laser treatments every other day, who spoke about how Kendall goes there every time she has a pimple to get it 'zapped' with these magic injections https://t.co/rhlfQhJM1B

Not for one second do I believe that Kendall Jenner actually uses proactive. She’s a multimillionaire she would’ve seen a dermatologist who prescribed her acne medication point blank.
I have acne and I know full well you’ve got to treat from the inside and outside.— Emma Bamsey (@emma_bamsey)
the thing that makes me angry about the Kendall + proactiv thing is that even me, a normal person, has spent thousands of dollars (only counting 2018) to treat my acne. Over the counter does not work, stop pretending like IT DOES. Save your money and visit a dermatologist.

Kendall Jenner is literally profiting by misleading insecure people and giving them false hope. not everyone’s acne is curable by proactiv, and she went to a dermatologist to take care of hers. If she truly felt hurt by the public shame she faced, she would be honest. https://t.co/AKFqbvYR7T

Another commented: “Kendall: spends thousands on fancy dermatologist, frequently has bougie a** facials, lasers, light treatments, has extensive skin care routine with luxury products, drinks 8 gallons of water a day. Also Kendall: Proactiv literally saved my life like omg.”

A third added: “Did you read about the interviews with Kylie from a few years back where she talks about how she went to the family dermatologist after she cleared Kendall’s skin As if Kendall Jenner actually uses Proactiv ha.”
Welcome to the family, dahling! @KendallJenner is the new face of Proactiv 🖤 #weloveyoukendall #kendalldoesproactiv https://t.co/rCzA6qY6oM pic.twitter.com/04CT3oDLD4

Some social media users also claimed Jenner has already addressed her skin issues prior to the “vulnerable” announcement, as part of the family’s website and app, which has since closed.
On the site, Jenner reportedly said: “I had such bad acne when I was younger, I remember it SO well! I started having skin issues around the 8th or 9th grade.
“I wouldn't even look at people when I talked to them. I felt like such an outcast, when I spoke, it was with my hand covering my face.”
