Keira Knightley wore a Chanel dress every day during the Covid-19 lockdown.
The 36-year-old discussed how she coped during the first lockdown of the global health pandemic last year, and Keira confessed that she pulled out all the stops to keep her daughters Edie, six, and two-year-old Delilah, happy.
"We have a trampoline in our garden, and we decided we were only allowed to wear dresses on it," she told Harper's Bazaar.
"I put on red lipstick every day and every bit of Chanel that I have in my cupboard, and my daughter Edie had Chanel ribbons plaited into her hair and fairy wings," Keira added.
She said Edie raided her wardrobe for the luxury designer pieces.
"I thought, 'What is the point of these lovely things sitting in the wardrobe, when it feels quite apocalyptic and scary outside?' It felt so important to be really happy for the kids," the Pirates of the Caribbean actress explained.
Her husband James Righton didn't miss out on the fun either, as Keira said he was allowed on the trampoline only when wearing one of his “array of peacock-coloured Gucci suits".
The British star has a long-running partnership with the French fashion house, and wore a Chanel dress at her wedding in 2013.
Keira also spoke about the fear she and her family faced during the lockdown, and admitted she and James began sanitising their groceries.
“It got to an extreme when I found these weird, brown apples and my husband said he’d boiled them, because people might have touched them. I said, ‘Right, but now we can’t eat them!'... That was a really weird time, us dressed in really bright clothes, boiling apples!” she laughed.
