The youngest children of movie stars Will and Jada Pinkett Smith have now come out of their parents shadow. We have witnessed the siblings star in their parents movies and make family appearances at award shows, but they are no longer just ‘celeb kids’ but individuals grinding on their own to reach their goals.

Jaden and Willow followed in their father’s footsteps making movies and music. The siblings collaborated with celebrities such as: SZA, Nicki Minaj and Justin Bieber. Influencing the younger generation with their creativity.

But now the Smiths are taking the fashion industry by storm with their individuality and unique style.

Earlier this year it was announced by Louis Vuitton that the Karate Kid star Jaden Smith would be the new face of Louis Vuitton womenswear (!)

Shocking? Well not really. Especially when genderless clothing became one of the biggest themes in fashion last year. For 18 year old Jaden being the face of the campaign was a big deal!

Previously speaking on gender norms, Smith stated: “I don’t see man clothes and women clothes, I just see scared and comfortable people”. He’s evidently the perfect person for the role.

Not afraid to express his beliefs and opinions, it is evident the carefree Jada Pinkett and Will Smith have built a household that promotes individuality and self confidence. No wonder Jaden has adopted such a refreshing and unique mindset at a young age.

Now to Miss Willow Smith. From a young age, she has been seen sporting bold colours, hairstyles and choices of garments, remaining true to herself and continuously doing her. A true teen style icon.

Just 15 years old, Willow has influenced millions of young individuals with her large followings on social media and creative platforms.

Aware of the impact a Chanel brand ambassador has, Willow has stated to Teen Vogue: “I feel like there is so much creativity going on that I want to inject some of my ideas and some of my energy into the brand, because I feel like there’s a lot of things that come from youth nowadays that need to be expressed and amplified to the world.”

Using this opportunity to grow and make a difference, we couldn’t be happier for Willow Smith! Both her and Jaden Smith are examples of what is defined as individuals breaking barriers and creating a name for themselves.

Keep doing you guys, we’re rooting for you!
