Katy Perry tells fans "don't f**k with mama" following birth of daughter Daisy
Katy Perry has had a busy week. Not only did she announce the birth of her first child - a baby girl named Daisy - with partner Orlando Bloom just a few days ago, but she also released her new album Smile today. Which is quite a lot in just a few days.
Clearly pretty proud of the week's achievements (and it is quite the flex), Perry took to Twitter to let fans know just how much of a powerhouse she is.
"Delivering a baby and a record in the same week, dont f**k with mama aka #whatmakesawoman 🤹🏼🤡 #smile," she tweeted, referencing the song What Makes a Woman from her new album, Smile.
Katy and Orlando broke the news of their daughter's birth on Thursday 27th, teaming up with UNICEF to make the announcement via an article titled "The most precious gift: A healthy child." They welcomed their healthy baby girl, Daisy Dove Bloom, on August 26.
A picture of the couple holding Daisy's tiny hand was uploaded to the UNICEF Instagram page, and captioned: "Welcome to the world, Daisy Dove Bloom! We are honoured to introduce Goodwill Ambassadors Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom’s new bundle of joy."
Katy and Orlando told UNICEF, "We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter."

And today, two days after welcoming Daisy into the world, Katy has launched her new album. Quite the week, then.

I think it's probably time for a day off, eh Katy?
