If, like us, you were glued to your TV screen yesterday during the coverage of King Charles’ Coronation, you might have spotted the one and only Katy Perry in attendance.

It was hard to miss her in her gorgeous Vivienne Westwood lilac column dress and scene-stealing matching fascinator headpiece.

Katy joined many other celebrities and high-profile guests such as fellow American Idol judge Lionel Richie, Ant and Dec and Emma Thompson.

Ahead of Katy’s performance at the Coronation Concert, she already started providing some entertainment from inside Westminster Abbey, with a candid video of the musician going viral.

Viewers saw the singer searching for her seat among the pews, with her looking just a bit lost as she tried to find her way. And her oversized headpiece didn’t make finding her seat any easier.

We saw her walking in circles before finally pointing to the correct pew of guests.

It was a funny and very relatable moment to catch amid the serious nature of the ceremony.

Katy eventually took to Twitter later that day to reassure fans.

“don’t worry guys i found my seat,” she tweeted.

Earlier that day Katy shared how excited she was to be there on her Instagram.

In the caption she revealed, "I am excited to be performing at the Coronation Concert, and helping to shine a further light on the British Asian Trust’s Children’s Protection Fund, whose work includes on-ground initiatives to fundraising, with the aim to find solutions to child trafficking."

If yesterday's appearance is anything to go by, we can’t wait to see what she does during her Coronation concert performance tonight!
