Katy Perry makes the 'egg head' hairstyle look so snatched and chic
If you've been keeping up with the 2022 hairstyle trends, you will know that along with the shaggy wolf cut, mermaid waves and baby braids looks, the clean girl aesthetic is one of the most sought after 'dos – thanks to TikTok, ofc. And if you needed any more convincing, just take a look at Khloe Kardashian's flawless attempt.
Now, the latest celebrity to jump on the sleek bun look is none other than Katy Perry, who usually outdoes herself when it comes to trending hair looks. I mean, remember her flat waves Kardashian endeavour? And who could forget the time she looked just like Megan Fox with fresh out the shower hair?
Having said that, Katy's latest look may just be our favourite yet, as her interpretation of what I like to call my 'egg head' hair look is (cue Tiffany Pollard voice) nothing of the sort and instead, très chic. See her Instagram post below:
For this, Rick Henry, Katy's hairstylist has used an immense amount of styling product to slick the hair up (my go-to is the Ecostyle Styling Gel, £5.99) as not one single strand of hair is seen out of place. That is if we're not including those two super cute curls at the sides of her ears.
As for the glam beat, created by makeup maestro Michael Anthony, the pair have opted for a clean-cut gemstone eyeshadow look that has been topped off with a brown winged liner and fluffy lash. We think the TikTok girlies would most definitely approve.
