Katie Price has shared a bizarre video of her attempting to roast chestnuts days after her arrest on suspicion of breaching a restraining order.

The former glamour model, 43, was arrested Friday in Sussex after allegedly sending abusive messages to her ex-husband Kieran Hayler and his fiancée Michelle Penticost.

The reality TV star is banned from contacting Penticost under the terms of a five-year restraining order, imposed in 2019, after she verbally abused her in a school playground.

On Monday, she shared a video of her roasting chestnuts which was thought to have been filmed by her fiancé Carl Woods.

A source told the Mail newspaper Woods had rallied around the star following her arrest.

“Katie is leaning heavily on Carl who has also been there to support the children at what is a really difficult time,” said the source.

Wearing a pink tracksuit, Price said in the video: “I’ve just seen them on the side and thought, I’m going to roast some chestnuts!"

The mother-of-five described herself as the “hostess with the mostess!” before asking “does anyone know how long you leave the chestnuts on for?”

She added: “I feel like I’m camping in my own kitchen!”

Despite the relaxed demeanour, relatives of the former model have voiced concerns about her.

A family source told The Sun newspaper: “It’s a hugely worrying time. Her family is distraught. They want to do everything they can to help and protect Katie.

“But this time if found guilty she really hasn’t helped herself and the situation is looking bleak.”

The star is already on a sixteen-week suspended sentence for drink driving.

The sentence came after she flipped her car while driving to see a friend in Horsham, Sussex on September 28.

A documentary featuring Price and detailing her attempts to fix up her £2m Sussex home, dubbed the Mucky Mansion, is set to go ahead despite the arrest.

The Standard has approached Katie Price for further comment.

The first episode is due to air Wednesday on Channel 4 at 9pm.
