  • Katie Price has vowed to take on her third London Marathon next April, despite breaking her feet last year and being registered as disabled.

  • She says she can only walk for 20 minutes a day and relies on a wheelchair.

Katie Price, who broke both feet and ankles after falling off a wall in Turkey last year, has vowed to take on the marathon next April. The former glamour model has said she is now registered as disabled.

Speaking on Channel 4’s Steph’s Packed Lunch, Price said, ‘Mentally, when you are told you’ve got a life-changing injury, I’m told I can’t run again.

‘But I am going to be determined. The fact that they said that, I want to run the marathon next April. I’d have to do a fast walk or something. I don’t want that to be taken away and I’ll do everything I can to do it.’

This would not be Price's first Virgin Money London Marathon – she completed the race alongside then-husband Peter Andre in 2009. The pair crossed the finish line in 7:11:00; Price later revealed she had suffered a miscarriage on the course.

Price returned to the London Marathon in 2018, dressed in a lung costume in aid of the British Lung Foundation, but pulled out of the race at the 10-15km mark because of a knee injury.
