Katie Price has shared an unfiltered close-up photograph of her face for the first time since her latest cosmetic surgery.

The 43-year-old mother-of-five travelled to Turkey last month to undergo full-body liposuction, eye and lip lifts, and liposuction under her chin, and have fat injected into her bottom.

Price posted the close-up on Instagram saying: "Here we go completely unfiltered picture nothing like the papers show my face... I’m still healing from face surgery too."

The picture shows some remaining surgical scars around her nostrils and her eyes looking less swollen than in previous paparazzi shots of her, published since she had the surgery.

Price appeared on Good Morning Britain last week to discuss her new appearance, saying: "I've got work in the summer. I'm fully booked and I want to look good on camera."

She was reprimanded by TV medic Dr Amir Khan for travelling to red list country Turkey in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic for a cosmetic procedure.

Price defended herself saying: "Absolutely people will say that. I went to a red country. But at the same time, I'm working, I'm doing my YouTube, I've had two COVID jabs, I've done my PCR tests.

"You have to follow the protocols, you can't be silly."

And the reality TV star has previously admitted her experience of the surgery was "horrific" as she worried about it going wrong.

She told The Sun last week: “Honestly, I’ve gone to hell and back, it was horrific – 'Oh my God I look like a monster out of a horror movie.'

“I just thought, ‘This is it, I’m going to die.' I was terrified of looking like a freak, like that Bride of Wildenstein [Jocelyn Wildenstein] or a fake doll.

“I’ve woken up with holes and stitches all over my body. I look like I’ve got cat’s whiskers coming out of my nose and eyes. But I just want the old Katie back!”

She refused a blood transfusion after the surgery, despite losing a lot of blood, because her fiance questioned why she would want "some random person’s blood in you with COVID around", but is now making a good recovery.
