Katie Price has pleaded not guilty to breaching a restraining order obtained by her ex-husband Kieran Hayler's fiancée Michelle Penticost.
The reality TV star was arrested in January for allegedly breaching Michelle's restraining order against her by sending an expletive-ridden text to Kieran about his new partner.
The 43-year-old appeared at Crawley Magistrates' Court on Wednesday and pleaded not guilty to the charge. She requested a trial and was ordered to appear before Lewes Crown Court on 25 May.
She was given bail and ordered not to have any direct or indirect contact with Michelle, except for handing over Bunny and Jett, the two children Kieran and Katie share.
According to the Mirror, District Judge Amanda Kelly warned Katie that she was "living dangerously" and in "grave danger of going to prison".
Prosecutor Jonathan Karani said in court that Katie sent Kieran a message on 21 January which reads, "Tell your c***ing w**re piece of s**t girlfriend not to start with me... She has a restraining order, she shouldn't try to antagonise me."
Michelle was granted a five-year restraining order against Katie in June 2019 and it bans the reality star from contacting her directly or indirectly.
Katie was arrested over the alleged text just a month after she was handed a suspended jail sentence for drink-driving. She was given a 16-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, and a two-year driving ban for drink-driving, driving without insurance, and driving while disqualified when she crashed her car and flipped it over in September.
Kieran was married to Katie between 2013 and 2018. He shares an eight-month-old son named Apollo with Michelle.
Katie appeared in court on Wednesday wearing her engagement ring from Carl Woods, indicating that they are back together. He showed his support by sitting in the public gallery during the hearing.
