Katie Price has updated fans on the condition of her son, Harvey, who was rushed to hospital last weekend after he had breathing difficulties.

The former model has revealed that the 18-year-old has been moved out of intensive care, where he stayed for a few days.

Writing on Instagram alongside a series of selfies with Harvey, Price explained that he has been “incredibly strong”.

“Hey everyone update my @officialmrharveyprice baby boy, he has been incredibly strong and brave and this evening he has improved,” Price began in her caption.

“I’m so happy, it’s been so difficult, I love him so much and want to thank you all again for your support and lovely messages,” she continued.

Price added she had taken the photographs of herself and Harvey that day [Friday] and that he was on a drip and still in hospital care.

Her update follows one from earlier this week in which Price praised Harvey for being “so brave”.

She did not explain what Harvey, who has partial blindness, autism and Prader-Willi syndrome, had been admitted to intensive care for.

But the 42-year-old revealed that Harvey’s “medical condition remains complex”.

The TV star has five children in total, of which Harvey is the eldest. She shares two children with ex-husband Peter Andre and two children with Hayler.

Earlier this month, Price announced an upcoming BBC film about Harvey, which would see her “open up about what it’s really like to be a mum of a disabled child approaching adulthood”.

In June, she gave evidence to the Petitions Committee as part of its parliamentary inquiry into online abuse, during which she spoke about the impact social media abuse has had on her son.
