Every time Kate Middleton makes an appearance, you can guarantee that she will be sporting an incredible hairstyle.

Just over the last few months, the Duchess has served the perfect casual ponytail and one of the most intricate braided updos we’ve ever seen.

But over the years, there’s one particular hairstyle that has become Kate’s signature look: a big, bouncy blow dry with loose curls. Recently, she has been mixing up the type of curls she wears, trialling super tight ringlets, looser spiral ringlets and even large defined curls.

But during her most recent Royal appearance, Kate went back to her go-to bouncy hairstyle and this time, she rocked it with a new haircut.

Visiting the Foundling Museum, of which the Duchess is patron, Kate’s hair was styled sleek and straight from the roots to mid-lengths before falling into large and loose bouncy curls.

She’s also sporting a new hair length. While it isn’t a super dramatic chop and still in-line with the looks she usually serves, Kate’s hair was noticeably shorter compared to how long it was over Christmas and in her official 40th birthday portraits.

Unfortunately, there’s usually a lot of secrecy around the Royals’ glam squad and so we can’t get a step-by-step breakdown of how this gorgeous hairstyle was achieved. But if you’re looking to copy the look, we recommend a hot brush, like the Revlon version that went viral on TikTok.
