Kate Winslet is a busy woman, and many of us have been enjoying the fruits of her most recent labour recently: the Mare of Easttown.

In the UK, nearly 3 million viewers tuned in to watch the mini-series final last Sunday night when it was aired on HBO, desperate to finally find out who really killed Erin McMenamin (Cailee Spaeny).

Viewers tuned in each week to watch Kate play Detective Mare Sheehan, and the final viewing figures means that the series to joins 'The Undoing' as the only show in HBO’s history to grow consecutively with each episode.

And now the actor has revealed the 'one thing' she couldn't go without during the filming. In an interview with Marie Claire, Winslet enthuses about her Peloton bike, even telling the magazine that her family used to fight over it:

'I am in love with my Peloton bike. My family and I all share it, and sometimes fight over it. I found that when I was filming Mare of Easttown, that was almost the one thing I couldn't have gone without, because of the way it helped me decompress.'

She added: 'The sweat factor, the challenge of it, the great chat from the instructors. Sometimes I'd wail, I'd yell, or I'd cry on the bike; I can release so much. At the age of 45 that I am now, learning that my body is capable of more than I thought it was has gone a long way with me.'

The star also talked about her self-care regime, revealing her 'holy grail' beauty product.

'I love a good eyelash curler. My go-to is a fantastic Shu Uemura one that I absolutely love, and I've had it for years. I just feel bereft if it goes missing even for a day, which it often can, just fallen on the floor and swept underneath something.'

Before this though, the mother-of-three, goes through her morning routine, which includes washing her face with cold water and opting for a non-greasy moisturiser:

'For my sort of 'wake up my face' routine before getting everyone out the door, I always wash my face with very cold water and a wash cloth. Then, I just put on a good moisturiser At the moment, I'm loving Age Renewal by L'Oréal: It's a fantastic, revitalising moisturiser. It's quite creamy, but not sticky, and it works brilliantly under makeup.'
