Kate Moss eschewed her trademark rock 'n' roll style at the royal wedding today, instead opting for a Jackie Onassis-inspired polka dot matching dress and jacket. She teamed the look with a simple black hat with a net veil and simple black court shoes.

The polished ensemble marked a departure from Moss' trademark black skinny jeans, leopard print coat and skinny scarf, but presumably even supermodel status doesn't make a guest exempt from a formal dress code. Her hair was left loose with natural waves, and make-up was relatively muted, with smokey eyes and a nude lip.

She arrived with her 16-year-old daughter, Lila Grace Moss, who was this week announced the new face of Marc Jacobs beauty. The teenager and newly inducted model wore a net headpiece like her mother and a pink dress with a faux fur black coat.

Moss is a long-term friend of Princess Eugenie's mother, the Duchess of York. The two were seen on holiday together sailing round Greece in a David Tang's yacht in 2016. Moss would have watched Beatrice and Eugenie grow up together.

The royal wedding has attracted a number of models, including Naomi Campbell and Cara Delevingne, as well as celebrities such as Stephen Fey, Demi Moore and Liv Tyler.
