Kate Moss has been a stalwart on the Met Gala red carpet for years and years, but 2022 was special, as it was the first year her 19-year-old-daughter Lila Grace Moss Hack stepped onto the red carpet of fashion's biggest night of the year, with her.

Lila was just a twinkle in Kate's eye when she first attended the iconic event in a Calvin Klein slip dress back in 1995. And after years watching mum Kate attend the decadent gala, Lila finally made her debut.

Kate's black tuxedo dress was a playful masculine nod to the year's theme, Gilded Glamour; an Anthology of Fashion, while Lila was the picture of delicate femininity with a sheer dress richly embellished with sparkling crystals and given an edge with printed Burberry Logo detailing.

Both were dressed by Burberry creative director Riccardo Tisci, who also hosted fellow Brits Naomi Campbell, and Stormzy at the benefit, and model Irina Shayk. The Moss ladies' makeup looks were created by Charlotte Tilbury's Sofia Tilbury, using Beauty Light Wands and Hot Lips lipstick in shade Carina's Love for Kate.

Following in her mother's foot steps, Lila also models and it's a big year for the young fashion legacy, who also graced the cover of UK vogue for the first time for the May issue. Having previously appeared on the cover of Hong Kong Vogue among other features.

She's also been known to grace the runway from time to time, and certainly has iconic footsteps to follow in. It's a lot of pressure for a teenager but she seems to be taking it all in her stride.

We feel there's plenty more mother-daughter fashion moments in store from this pair.
