Kate Moss' daughter Lila Moss took to Instagram to share an adorable throwback snap of the mother-daughter duo.

Lila shared the image in honour of her supermodel mum's 49th birthday on Monday (16 January).

In the sweet photo, a young Lila and Kate sit side-by-side wearing sunglasses. Kate is chic in classic bronze aviators while Lila looks adorable in oversized glasses, which are slipping off her nose.

The pair appear to be on holiday somewhere together and Kate looks summer-ready with loose, beachy waves and denim shorts.

Lila paid tribute to her mum's birthday by captioning the image, "happy birthday mumma! side by side forever xxx"

Fans and famous friends left sweet messages and red heart emojis on the post, while pop star Rita Ora commented saying, "my favourite duo."

Lila has often been pictured by her mum's side over the years, and began joining Kate at events and to fashion shows as she grew older.

Now 20 years old, Lila has taken after her supermodel mum and has become a model herself. She has walked on the catwalk and fronted designer campaigns for big names like Marc Jacobs and has appeared in Vogue magazine.

The pair even starred in a show together for the design house Fendi, which brought together classic supermodels and current stars of the model world to showcase its Spring Summer 2021 collection.

For Kate Moss's 48th birthday last year, Lila shared another, more recent snap of the pair together.
