Both Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle have solved the conundrum of smart, comfortable shoes to wear in the heat and we are totally going to steal their idea - wedged espadrilles for the win.
And, their go-to brand for these clever shoes are currently in the Net-A-Porter Black Friday sale.
Both women, alongside Pippa Middleton, Gwyneth Paltrow and Anne Hathaway, are fans of the Spanish brand Castañer, who create these wonderful shoes in an array of textures and colours.
In particular, they favour the Carina 80 style, though, we kind of love them all.

Whilst hosting a children's picnic in her nature garden at Hampton Court Palace back in July, Middleton looked chic in the warm weather, wearing a patterned summer dress by Sandro and a pair of beige espadrilles.
This was the second time the 37-year-old has wore those shoes, having rocked a floral dress and the same wedges to visit one of the charities that she is a patron for, Action for Children, on July 25.
Of course, her sister-in-law Meghan Markle has been repping the shoes for a while now, most notably during her trip to Australia late last year.
