As one of the most photographed women in the world, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge (AKA Kate Middleton) is camera-ready no matter the occasion. From public engagements and royal tours to Zoom meetings during lockdown Kate is always dazzling us with her array of bold looks.
But, it seems that quarantine has brought out the best of Kate's past wardrobe hits from her earlier royal days, as she continues to perform her duties via Zoom from the family's Norfolk home Anmer Hall; where she has been staying with Prince William and their three children.
From her green Diane von Fürstenberg dress she first wore in 2011 to the unforgettable canary yellow Roksanda number from her Australian royal tour; Kate's Zoom wardrobe is the nostalgic gift that keeps on giving.
The Duchess' virtual looks have also been a subtle nod to the NHS, as Kate has purposely worn bold vibrant hues, donning all of the colours of the rainbow during her Zoom chats.
But, back to reliving these past royal looks. Maybe it's simply because all Kate's previous looks just happen to be at the couple's country retreat, whatever the reason behind these outfit repeats, we're on board. I don't know about you but I love a good walk down royal memory lane.
First up, the emerald green dress she wore on her first joint virtual engagement with Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, which appears to be the same Diane von Fürstenberg number she wore in LA in 2011:
Next, the Duchess re-wore one of her most memorable looks from one of her first royal tours in Australia, a yellow Roksanda sheath dress, in tribute to the country to mark Australia's Thank A First Responder Day... AKA the dress that lead Prince William to say Kate "looked like a banana":
Who could forget this cobalt blue Stella McCartney dress? A favourite of the Duchess', wearing the design six times since she was first photographed in the dress in 2012 at the National Portrait Gallery and again at the Olympic Games:
In another virtual visit Kate bought out her trusty French girl stripes by Joos Tricot which she was first spotted in at Cutty Sark in May last year to launch the King's Cup Regatta:
Finally, the fire engine red round neck midi dress from high street find LK Bennett, which first made it's debut in 2015 at Wimbledon, made a reappearance on Kate's Zoom call to commemorate VE Day:
As lockdown rules are slowly being eased and the Duke and Duchess begin to attend royal engagements while social distancing, we will be bound to see even more of Kate in public.
Here's hoping her red Alexander McQueen dress makes a triumphant return next.
