Kate Middleton stepped out alongside Prince William for the Service Of Commemoration and Thanksgiving as part of the ANZAC Day services at Westminster Abbey on Monday (25 April), looking the picture of elegance.

ANZAC Day is celebrated on 25 April each year in honour of all of the Australians and New Zealanders who served and lost their lives in the Gallipoli landings which took place during WWI. In Australia and New Zealand, the annual memorial day remembers all those who have lost their lives in conflicts, much like Remembrance Day here in the UK.

Earlier in the day, Prince William laid a wreath in tribute to the fallen on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen at the Cenotaph in Whitehall.

In an all-white outfit that was giving seriously chic, Jackie O vibes, Kate was later pictured arriving at the special service at Westminster Abbey with the Duke of Cambridge – a surprise appearance, as it hadn't been announced in advance that she would be in attendance.

Her white tailored coat dress by Alexander McQueen is a piece she previously wore to the christening of Princess Charlotte in 2015.

Kate completed the look with a statement monochrome headband, coordinating black heels and, of course, a commemorative poppy pin, which matched that worn by Prince William, who looked equally smart in a classic navy suit.
