Kate Middleton wears £7 high street earrings for first appearance of 2022 with Prince William
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge stepped out for their first joint appearance of 2022 on Wednesday (19 January) morning, as they paid a visit to the Foundling Museum in London.
The museum, of which Kate is royal patron, tells the history of the Foundling Hospital, the UK's first children's charity founded back in the 18th century.
The royal couple both looked smart for the engagement, with the duchess opting for a tailored blue coat worn over wide-leg navy trousers, thought to be from Jigsaw, and William donning a classic checked jacket in a coordinating shade.
It's fair to say we all love it when Kate wears an affordable high street buy, so we were pleased to spot her completing her look in a £7 pair statement gold earrings. They're reported to be the Mini Hammered Doorknocker Hoop Earrings fromAccessorize, a brand that the duchess has been seen in before.
Sadly, the earrings are now sold out – we'll chalk that down to the famous 'Kate effect'.
