Royal engagements are back in full swing and with it, comes more epic beauty moments from Kate Middleton. Ever since being spotted out and about over the last few months, we can’t help but notice a subtle blusher trick that the Duchess has been wearing during her Royal appearances.

Of course, we all know that blusher placement can make a huge difference to your face – just look at the way Adele’s blusher helps give her a more lifted look. It seems Kate has found her favourite way to wear blusher, too.

Rather than taking it up the temples like Adele, Kate sweeps her blusher alongside her bronzer, sitting just above the hollows of her cheeks and up to her ears.

But even more interesting, she doesn’t take the blusher onto the apples of her cheeks, keeping the pop of colour sitting juuuust on the edge of her cheeks. It’s a technique that the Duchess tried yesterday:

It’s a really clever way to wear blusher as not only does it give your face a more sculpted look that hugs your cheekbones, it also stops the colour from taking over your face.

Here she is last month with her blusher and bronzer blended in together for a sculpted look:

And from the front, you can still appreciate a hint of the colour poking through, stopping just shy of the apples of her cheeks:
