Kate Middleton officially ended her summer break on Wednesday (15 September), as she paid an important visit to RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire.
The Duchess of Cambridge visited the armed forces base in order to meet with and thank those who assisted in the UK's civilian evacuation of Afghanistan.
The evacuation effort, which ran between 14 and 18 August, was the RAF's largest humanitarian aid operation for over 70 years, and saw over 15,000 people flown out of Kabul following the takeover of Afghanistan by the Taliban.
The duchess looked as chic as ever for her appearance at the RAF base, opting for a tailored oatmeal blazer, worn over a simple white blouse and paired with wide-leg, high-waisted navy trousers.
Kate completed her outfit with a coordinating beige micro bag and statement gold earrings, and wore her highlighted dark hair down.
Her tailored transitional look has definitely inspired us to shop for some new season workwear, now that we're returning to the office.
This is the first time we have seen the duchess since July when she attended the Wimbledon Men's Finals in London.
