At 11 o'clock today, the nation fell silent as the Queen led the country in remembering members of the Armed Forces who died in conflict. She was joined at the Cenotaph memorial in London by the Duke of Edinburgh, Prime Minister David Cameron and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Prince William, dressed in his RAF uniform, laid a Remembrance Sunday wreath as his glossily-haired wife watched from a balcony alongside the Countess of Wessex and the Princess Royal's husband Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Lawrence.
Kate Middleton looked suitably solemn in head-to-toe black with a large black hat to match. In true recycling fashion, this is the same Diane von Furstenberg coat that the DoC wore to last year's Remembrance Sunday service. She topped off with a blinging poppy plated with 18-carat gold and featuring red and black crystals. It's available in-store at Marks & Spencer and online at www.poppyshop.org.uk.
