Royal baby news klaxon… apparently Kate Middleton is ready to have another child next year.

Which gives me just enough time to get over the impending emotional breakdown I’m going to have when I see Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s baby for the first time.

Kate and Prince William only welcomed little Louis back in April last year, but the Duchess of Cambridge reportedly wants to get pregnant again as soon as possible so her youngest can experience a bond like her other two children Prince George, five, and Princess Charlotte, three.

An insider told Australian publication New Idea, "Kate has seen the bond between George and Charlotte and thinks it would be lovely if Louis had a sister closer to his age.

“Kate is doing things her way but William has always supported her and will do anything to make her happy; that is a promise he made before they married."

And a family of four seems to run in the royal family, as the Queen has three boys and one girl, while Kate’s pal Princess Mary of Denmark also has four children.

Meanwhile, Kate recently opened up about what she finds most difficult about bringing up children - and surprisingly it’s not the sleepless nights or tower of dirty nappies.

While speaking at the Family Action headquarters earlier this month, as she helped to launch its new FamilyLine hotline service, the Duchess revealed she actually found the biggest struggle of parenthood to be when her babies turned one.

"It’s so hard," said Kate. "You get a lot of support with the baby as a mother, particularly in the early days, but after the age of one it falls away. After that there isn’t a huge amount," she continued, adding, "Everybody experiences the same struggle."
