The pandemic has meant the majority of us - including celebrities and Royals alike - have spent a lot more time inside this year. As a result, we've had a nosey inside everyone from Meghan Markle to Kylie Jenner's home - and even Kate Middleton and Prince William have been getting involved.

Last month, Kate revealed a number of lovely family photos on display during a virtual engagement, where she raised awareness of new research being conducted around raising children under five. Fans couldn't help but notice the floral cushions on display on their sofa in Kensington Palace.

Less than two weeks later, Prince William has undertaken a virtual engagement in the same spot, this time to congratulate Hipólito Lima, the winner of the 2020 Prince William Award for Conservation in Africa.

Hipólito has been working for 26 years to protect sea turtles, by conserving female sea turtles and their nests, monitoring nesting beaches and empowering local communities and rangers to become sea turtle guardians.

It sounds like a brilliant initiative.

Fans also noticed William and Kate had updated their scatter cushions in favour of some red ones, positioned behind his shoulders on the sofa. How very festive.

This comes as the Queen's Christmas decorations were unveiled on social media - and it's safe to say she won't be lacking in festive Zoom backdrops, should she require them.

Royal reporter Omid Scobie shared two images from inside Windsor and said that one of the stars of the show is a 20 foot Norwegian Spruce tree, which will be joined by not one, not two, but five others. Casual, right? "Staff helped decorate this 20-foot Norwegian Spruce for the Queen and Prince Philip’s first Windsor Christmas since 1987," said Scobie. "The tree in St George’s Hall (where the Sussexes had their wedding reception) joins five others, including three mini trees in the Queen’s gallery."

Wow.
