The Duchess of Cambridge loves a high street buy – and we now know she's been shopping for knitwear at one of our favourite stores.

With England currently locked down until early December, Kate has been undertaking engagements via video call, which calls for more casual attire. So, it seems, the Duchess has been adding a new buy or two to her winter wardrobe.

Catherine's most recent call was to a nurse who was involved in her 'Hold Still' photography project, documenting the UK during the first lockdown.

Kensington Palace shared a clip from the video conversation on Twitter and followers were quick to compliment Kate's new knit.

For the chat, Kate wore this pretty pale blue cardigan with a scalloped collar and gathered sleeves from Boden.

Made from a luxurious blend of merino wool and cotton, the Abercorn scallop cardigan, £75, is lightweight yet warm so the perfect piece for adding a layer on chilly days without overheating. And it's still in stock in all sizes (from six to 22) online.

Kate kept accessories to a minimum for the call, simply opting for her signature bouncy blow-dry and some sweet family photos in the background, including Prince George and Princess Charlotte's school picture and a portrait of Kate with Prince Louis at the Natural History Museum last year.

Last week, the Duchess chatted to military families to mark Remembrance Day on 11th November.

Eagle-eyed fans tracked down Kate's cushions to local London interiors label OKA, where they're currently reduced from £60 to £30 in the sale.

We told you she loves a bargain!
