Kate Middleton's ladylike style will live on forever, thanks to a new official portrait.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were on hand to unveil their first official joint portrait on Thursday at the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge, England.
In the painting, Kate, 40, is gazing into the distance whilst donning her now-iconic glittering green The Vampire's Wife dress (shop here) that she previously wore on a trip to Dublin, Ireland, in March 2020.
The portrait was painted by award-winning British portrait artist Jamie Coreth and commissioned by the Cambridgeshire Royal Portrait Fund.
To mark the occasion, the couple, who celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary earlier this year, came dressed to impress.
Prince William wore a navy blue suit to their namesake region of Cambridgeshire and Kate Middleton chose a familiar favourite from L.K.Bennett.
The Duchess wore an ankle-grazing lilac coat, a pair of riviera-blue pumps from Emmy London, and the British luxury brand's purple "Madison" dress.
While the style's pretty lilac print is unique to the occasion, Kate was seen donning a near-identical $540 USD (approx. $703 CAD) L.K.Bennett dress to a charity polo match in 2019.
The earlier version of the dress is crafted from a silky fabric and features a soft pink animal print — and surprisingly, it's still in stock.
While both versions of the dress would be welcome additions to any summer wardrobe, at roughly $703 CAD, they certainly don't come cheap.
