Kate Middleton's love of stylish midi dresses and coat dresses is no secret. In fact, they are arguably her most iconic wardrobe staples. But for the Duchess' latest appearance she opted for a completely different look, swapping her mid-length skirts for a ridiculously chic, tailored black power suit. And, of course, she looked incredible.
Overnight, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's Instagram account shared a video of Kate at The Natural History Museum (of which Kate is the patron), announcing that she will be revealing the 2020 winner of the museum's Wildlife Photographer of the Year award.
For the occasion, the Duchess wore a square neck black top, layered under a matching blazer complete with padded shoulders and black trousers.
As for accessories, Kate kept things simple by skipping a necklace and bracelet, opting for a minimalist belt and a pair of (very on-trend) pearl drop earrings.
In short, she looks utterly flawless - as always - with a notably modern spin. Take a look at Kate's outfit here:
"It is so wonderful to be back at the reopened Natural History Museum, where we can all enjoy its treasures once again," Kate says in the clip. "I'm here because tomorrow night I'm announcing the 56th Wildlife Photographer of the Year."
"I've been lucky enough to have a quick preview and I can say it's truly spectacular. I can't wait for you all to see it."
Stay tuned as the Duchess will undoubtedly reveal another incred look tonight and we, also, can't wait.
