Kate Middleton just revealed her super cute nickname for Prince Louis
The Prince and Princess of Wales just took their young children, Prince George, nine, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five, on an official engagement following the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla. Yesterday, the royal family headed to the Scouts Hut in Slough to meet the volunteers taking part in the Big Help Out, a day where people are encouraged to volunteer in their communities as part of the Coronation celebrations.
While Kate was showing her youngest son how to roast marshmallows (a classic Scouts activity), the 41-year-old inadvertently revealed her super cute nickname for the little one.
Following the sweet mother-son moment, eagle-eyed (and eared) fans picked up on the term of endearment and took to social media to gush over the revelation.
The official all-things royal TikTok account for the Daily Express even shared it and singled out the audio multiple times for those who might have missed it.
As the Princess carefully guided young Louis over to the fire pit to roast his marshmallow, she could be heard saying: "Pop this on the fire Lou-bugs."
Naturally, the TikTok comments have gone wild, with plenty of royal fans enthusing over the sweet name.
"What a lovely nickname," one person typed, as another said: "That's adorable."
A third penned: "What a beautiful family," as a fourth complimented Kate's maternal nature, writing: "I love this family, she is such an awesome mum."
It's official, we *cannot* deal with this news.
