Between her sheer-dress modelling days and her ability to sink a pint of Guiness, we've always known that behind the nude pumps and perfect blowdry, Kate Middleton is a total badass.

Which made a whole lot of sense when we discovered the best Kate Middleton piece of trivia ever.

The fact in question? That, during her slightly wilder uni days at St Andrews (where she met Prince William), Kate Middleton co-founded her very own drinking club.

Yup, a society dedicated to the art of booze.

Although this is brand new information to us, The Guardian in fact confirmed the news way back in 2007, before the Duchess was, well, a Duchess.

The report clarified that the exclusively female only alcohol club was started when Kate discovered that other similar clubs were reserved solely for men and didn't allow women to join at all. Top work St Andrews.

'At university, Kate continued to grow in confidence,' the outlet reported. 'She co-founded a girls' drinking society, "annoyed that the old ones excluded women" - but no one remembers her getting very drunk.'

Very convenient...

However, going by Kate's now confirmed reputation of being a top lad, we like to imagine the drinking club included endless champagne tasting, more than a few wheels of baked camembert, and absolutely no nude tights allowed.

Here's to changing the patriarchy one pint at a time, and cheers to you Kate!
