Kate and Meghan's favourite trainers are on sale
If there's one fashion item that's become an absolute staple in our WFH wardrobe over the past year, it's a failsafe pair of comfy trainers.
Long-gone are the days of uncomfortable wedges and smart shoes that rub, right now we're taking inspiration from Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle and investing in some cult trainers that go with everything. Luckily, both of the Duchesses' favourite trainer brands are on sale right now.
Kate — a well-known fan of casual clothing — has worn her trusty white Superga plimsolls for a number of royal engagements, including when she met schoolchildren at the Back to Nature Garden she co-designed. She paired the 2750 Cotu Classics with a casual pair of culottes and a pretty white blouse for the occasion.
Meghan caused a similar shopping stampede when she sported a bright white pair of Veja trainers with black leggings and a tracksuit top during the royal tour of Australia with Prince Harry back in 2018. So much so that the V-10 style sold out almost immediately every time stock was renewed, after the photograph went viral.
At present, both of these royal-approved trainer brands are currently in the sale, with Meghan's favoured sustainable brand Veja dropping their retail price to under £100 for a pair of yellow Campo trainers in the Anthropologie clearance sale — shaving £20 off the original retail price to just £95.
Even better, Kate's exact Cotu Classics trainers are currently 30% off on Amazon — with fans of the style leaving rave reviews online and praising the price.
One customer revealed they'd received 'so many compliments' already and the shoe 'felt as light as air'. While another said they couldn't 'recommend them enough' and told online shoe-shopping sceptics 'they don't disappoint.'
Since Meghan's Veja trainers have a history of selling out and we don't know how long Amazon's mystery show sale will last — we'd advise snapping these styles up, pronto!
