Kate Hudson has shared an adorable throwback photo of herself as a baby with her mother, Goldie Hawn.

Actress Kate (43) shared the picture to mark Mother's Day in the USA. The photo shows legendary actress Goldie (76) holding her daughter when she was a toddler. In the snap, the two look sweet and colour co-ordinated in red, with Kate wearing a cute red outfit and Goldie in a red sequin dress.

The snap shows Goldie sporting her signature look; golden hair with a full, 80s style fringe.

Kate captioned the picture "My everything💫 Happy Mama’s Day @goldiehawn," to celebrate Mother's Day, which fell on Sunday 8 May in the USA. Celebrities and fans alike were quick to comment sending their good wishes and saying how sweet the duo looked. Singer-songwriter Sarah Hudson, who is also Kate's cousin, commented: "Happy mommas day auntie godmother Goldie…i love you! ❤️ ." Meanwhile, actress Leslie Mann simply commented "❤️❤️❤️."

Goldie and Kate regularly collaborate on mother-daughter projects. In recent months, Goldie took to Instagram to share that the two were fronting a campaign for luxury shoe designer, Stuart Weitzman, together. " A dream mother-daughter moment with @stuartweitzman," said Goldie. "Love you my baby @katehudson and yes being a shoe lover is genetic 👠🌟No lie… I had to get another closet for my Stuart Weitzman shoes 🤫"

Kate is the daughter of Goldie Hawn and Bill Hudson, who were married from 1976 - 1982. She has an older brother, Oliver Hudson, and a younger half-brother, Wyatt Russell.
