Kate Garraway returned to co-present Good Morning Britain on Monday 13 July, after approximately four months away from the ITV breakfast show to care for her husband.
The 53-year-old presenter has been absent from the programme ever since her partner, Derek Draper, was admitted to hospital with coronavirus in March, before being put into an induced coma.
While Derek is now “coronavirus-free”, and is said to have gone from a deeper coma into a minimum state of consciousness as his body still reels from the effects of COVID-19.
During this morning’s show Garraway joked there are three beauty hacks that have got her through a “professional crisis”.
She said: “If ever there's a professional crisis… fake tan, long false eyelashes on and go blonde.”
