The Kardashians and Jenners might not be invited to this year's Met Gala
The Kardashians and Jenners may not be invited to the Met Gala this year, and we are seriously shocked.
Page Six reports Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintor is seriously “cracking down” on the guest list to the exclusive event, meaning the Kar-Jenner fam may not make the cut.
According to one source who spoke to the outlet, "no Kardashians" will be invited despite the five famous sisters all attending for the first time last year.
Vogue did not respond to Page Six's request for comment and a source close to the family said the claim is "not true".
Khloé has previously shut down rumours of not being invited. In a Twitter interaction from 2019, Khloé responded to a fan who asked about the rumours, saying: "Absolutely NOT true."
And during last year's The Kardashians on Disney+ Khloé revealed she had turned down invitations in the past because of her anxiety of appearing on red carpets.

Since 1995, Wintour has decided who makes the guest list for the Gala, which is held annually on the first Monday in May and helps fundraise for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s costume institute.
Kim Kardashian first attended the Met Gala in 2013 alongside her now ex-husband, Kanye West. She shared that she cried after she went for the first time, writing: “I didn’t know anyone and I’m sure no one wanted me there. I went home [and] cried after of insecurity.” – Oh, Kim!
Since then, she has become a staple on the carpet and most recently (and controversially) wore Marilyn Monroe’s iconic dress from when she sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to President John F. Kennedy.
Her sisters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, are also regular attendees of the Gala and have served looks in Balmain, Prada, Off-White and more – remember their Versace gowns from 2019? Big slay.
Last year, Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian also attended for the first time and seeing the entire Kar-Jenner clan on the Met steps was an iconic moment, to say the least.
We really hope the famous family does attend, as the Met Gala wouldn’t be the same without them.
