Keeping Up With the Kardashians might have come to a devastating end in 2021, but you can rest assured that you haven’t seen the last of the Kardashians and Jenners.

In September 2020, Kim Kardashian shared a post on Instagram to announce the family’s decision to stop filming their hit E! show after 14 years and 20 seasons.

‘We are beyond grateful to all of you who’ve watched us for all of these years – through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children,’ an excerpt of a caption announcing the news read.

At the time, fans of the reality show went into mourning in the belief that the family were bidding ‘adieu’ to TV for good. But in December 2020 we learned that the Kardashian-Jenner family would be returning to our screens with their very own Hulu/Disney+ show.

In the words of Kylie Jenner: 'Rise and shine, rise and shine.'

Season one of the Kardashians aired on April 14 2022 and delivered viewers a plethora of dramatic moments, from Kim Kardashian addressing her split from Kanye West and new relationship with her now ex Pete Davidson, to Kourtney Kardashian celebrating her engagement to her now husband Travis Barker.

In the summer of 2022 Hulu announced a second season of the show was on its way and has now released not one but two trailers ahead of its arrival on our TV screens.

From the show’s release date to the trailer, here’s everything you need to know about The Kardashians season 2:

When will season two of The Kardashians be released?

At the end of August 2022, Hulu shared its most recent trailer for the upcoming season and let's just say we're in for one hell of a ride.

In the trailer, which was released on YouTube on Monday August 29, Kylie Jenner opened up about her postpartum struggles following the birth of her son earlier this year.

'I should be really happy right now, I just had this new baby,' she revealed, adding: 'But I cried non-stop for like three weeks.'

Elsewhere Khloé Kardashian seemingly touched on her ex Tristan Thompson's infidelities and their son, who arrived via surrogate earlier this summer.

'Going through what I went through was incredibly hard,' she said in one scene, presumably referring to Thompson's high profile infidelity. 'I just feel that I'm a fish in a fish bowl.'

Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian spoke of her new-found confidence following her split from Kanye West last year. Describing the new episodes as a 'season of independence' she noted: 'I really feel that I found my personal confidence.'

On August 8, an earlier trailer shows a sneak peek into what viewers can hope to expect from the upcoming show.

In the clip Kourtney Kardashian tells viewers 'It's such a beautiful thing to be able to live as if no one's watching' after packing on the PDA with her husband, while the other sisters are seen enjoying a night out.

In addition to Kris Jenner showing off her new fringe and bob hairstyle, Kim Kardashian can be seen posing in SKIMS with models Heidi Klum, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Candice Swanepoel.

Previously, in mid-July, The Kardashians announced that season two of the show would be coming on September 22.

The official Instagram account shared: 'Season 2? count us in 🤍 see you September 22 on @hulu, Disney+ internationally and Star+ in Latin America. [sic]'

Season one of the hit show was filmed between October and December 2021, while the latest show was filmed between April and July 2022. In previous years, the family released seasons of their now terminated show Keeping Up With The Kardashians twice a year.

Is there a season two trailer for The Kardashians?

Yes, and you can watch it at the top of this article.

Season two was teased at the end of season one of The Kardashians, with the final clip in the last episode of season one showing a title card which read: 'To be continued.'

What have people said about The Kardashians season two?

Kris Jenner and The Kardashians producer Danielle King recently spoke about season two in an episode of Deadline's Crew Call podcast.

'We are covering it,' King said of Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker's recent Italian wedding. 'I think that’s something that we’ll tease and say you have to tune in. It’s going to be amazing, that much I know. Everyone’s gonna want to tune in.'

Which members of the Karadshian-Jenner family will appear in The Kardashians season two?

Kim, Kourtney, Khloé, Kendall, Kylie and Kris Jenner all star in season two of the Hulu/Disney+ project following the success of the series' first season.

In May 2021, Kim Kardashian announced that Kourtney’s ex Scott Disick would feature in the series, noting: ‘@ScottDisick is coming with us to Hulu sooooooo I get it BUT he will be back!!!! [sic]’

Barker also stars in the show following his engagement (and since marriage) to Kourtney Kardashian. While Kim Kardashian's now ex Davidson did have an appearance (albeit via audio) in season one, it's unknown whether he appears in season two.

However, King did note on the Crew Call podcast: 'Whether we have in-depth story lines, that’s entirely up to him…that’s entirely a conversation between Kim and Pete.

'He’s legitimately a part of Kim’s life, and so for those bigger moments - like when they went to the Met Ball - Pete was with her. He’s not like, "Get the cameras away from me." He joins in.'

Kardashian and Davidson split in early August 2022.

Rob Kardashian didn't make an appearance in season on of the show, despite featuring in several of the first few seasons of KUWTK, so it's likely we won't be seeing him in the second season either.

As for whether Kylie Jenner's son will make his TV debut in season two, we wait with bated breath.

How did the Kardashian-Jenners announce The Kardashians?

The family announced The Kardashians December 2020, with Kris Jenner sharing the news on Instagram.

‘Excited to announce our new multi year partnership with Hulu and Star and what’s to come in 2021 @hulu #Hulu2021,’ she captioned a picture of her family in a new promo shot.

In the clip, we learnt that Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker were trying for a baby, and that Kardashian claimed her IVF medication (which has 'not been the most amazing experience') brought on menopause and led to her weight gain.

As for the moment that really got fans talking, it had something to do with a conversation between Khloé Kardashian, Scott Disick and Kris Jenner.

While sitting around the kitchen table together, discussing a range of family drama, Khloé said: 'Never go against the family,' and Kris is seen smiling as she repeats the bold statement to others.

Following the revelation of this exchange, fans likened the reality series to a mob movie.

One person wrote: 'Why does the new Kardashian’s Trailer make them look like the mob LMAO ...,' later following up with: 'Never go against the family' alright Vin Diesel calm down.'

Another person echoed these remarks when writing: 'The keeping up the kardashians trailer looks like a mob movie talking about "never go against the family" [sic].'

Are there any behind-the-scenes photos from season one of The Kardashians?

Yes. Disney+ UK treated us to a sneak peek of the Kardashian-Jenner clan behind-the-scenes during filming for season one, through a series of polaroid images shared to its Instagram account.

In one photo, Khloé is seen getting her hair and make-up done, and in another Kourtney playfully pouts while in a trailer. Kris Jenner is also caught off-guard on her phone, while seemingly taking a break from filming.

Other shots shared to the network's social media page show Kim, Kendall and a pregnant Kylie posing for photos.

The images also show them donning the same looks from the series' recently released trailer, which signals a fresh start for the family.
