The Kardashian who didn't want KUWTK to end
The Kardashian-Jenners broke the news in late 2020 that Keeping Up With The Kardashians is coming to an end, with the final season currently airing on Hayu.
In the latest episode, Khloe Kardashian revealed she wasn't sure about news of the show coming to an end, explaining that she hates change and would've happily carried on with more.
In the episode, Kris Jenner explains to daughter Kim, Khloe and Kourtney that E!, who produce and air KUWTK, were expecting an answer about whether the famous family were going to renew their contracts for another season.
"We all have to be on the same page and be really happy and peaceful and okay with the decision because it’s a huge, huge decision," Kris said. "They’re expecting an answer and we can’t really go backwards."
Khloe replied, "For me, I’m such a creature of habit so change is scary. I’m not good with change and I think there’s a lot of change this year so it feels heavy.”
Kim then said that she "definitely" thinks it's time for the show to end, while Kourtney added, "I thought I was feeling it was time like, last year,” Kourtney clarified. “I feel like it’s not making sense."
Later in the confessional, Khloe explained, "Going into this meeting, I really assumed it would be just a conversation that we’re all going to have. But now that I’m in the meeting, it’s definitely clear that everyone’s decisions have been made, and that mine would probably be the only one that is against the rest of the family."
Eventually, Kim and Kourtney outright ay they want the show to end, before Khloe added, "[OK], majority rules.
"Having to tell everybody, ‘Okay, well now this is all coming to an end,’ it’s just, it’s really devastating. I hate this year so much."
The episode then cut to the Kardashians telling their crew that they were working on the 20th and final series of the show. What an era!
