Kara Tointon welcomes new baby to the world with adorable photo on Instagram
Kara Tointon shared the happy news that she has given birth to a baby boy with a lovely black and white photograph posted on Instagram.
Alongside the stunning shot of her little one's hands, the former EastEnders and Strictly Come Dancing star revealed that she gave birth last Friday (8 January).
"Our second bundle of joy arrived on Friday 8 at 9.46 am weighing 7.25 pounds," she wrote in the accompanying caption.
"Couldn’t be more excited to start 2021 with this incredibly cool little man joining our family."
The 37-year-old went on to pay tribute to the NHS staff who helped her deliver her second child, adding: "Thank you to the amazing team at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital for bringing him into the world safely."
The post has proven a huge hit with followers, with many of Kara's celebrity pals commenting to send their congratulations.
"Gorgeous news!!! Congratulations darling," wrote TV presenter Kate Thornton, while actress Helen Flanagan added, "Congratulations darling".
Kara and partner Marius Jensen are also parents to two-year-old son Frey, who was born in November 2018.
