Kanye West redesigning McDonald's food packaging

Kanye West announced on Monday he is redesigning the packaging for fast-food chain McDonald's.

The rapper returned to Instagram after two months of silence to reveal his new redesign of the fast-food chain's wrapping.

Kanye said he had teamed up with MUJI industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa to "reimagine" the burger box he shared in his post, a square package resembling a sandwich.

On his Instagram Stories, the Stronger hitmaker hinted that the burger box was the first in a range of redesigns as he shared the same image and teased, "Next week it's the fries."

McDonald's has not yet commented on the collaboration.

Kanye has previously expressed his fondness for the brand in his poem McDonald's Man, and was featured in a McDonald's social media campaign in 2020.

The announcement marks the first post after Kanye was suspended from Instagram in March for taking aim at his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, her new partner Pete Davidson, and talk show host Trevor Noah.
