Kanye West has confirmed his fashion label Yeezy is partnering with American high street retailer GAP next year.
The 43-year-old rapper has remained tight lipped about the details of the upcoming collection, aside from tweeting the new logo for his line.
Alongside a photo of “YZY” in the GAP motif, which he shared on Twitter, he wrote: “Yeezy and GAP form partnership #WESTDAYEVER.”

What we do know is West will be releasing a range of fashionable basics across menswear, womenswear and children’s section, all of which will be in keeping with GAP’s affordable price points.
The longstanding high street store is “excited” to be joining forces with the Stronger hitmaker.
Speaking about the collaboration the Global Head of GAP brand, Mark Breitbard, said: “We are excited to welcome Kanye back to the Gap family as a creative visionary, building on the aesthetic and success of his YEEZY brand and together defining a next-level retail partnership.”
According to New York Times, West’s deal with GAP has been agreed for 10 years, although there is an option to renew it after five years.
Although the upcoming line will be West’s first capsule with the label, it is not his first time working for the company.
A spokesperson for GAP has revealed West used to work in a GAP store in Chicago when he was a teenager.
Although shoppers will have to wait a few months until West’s collection is available to buy, West has a vast selection of other Yeezy merchandise he has released over the years, which are still available to buy.
