Kaia Gerber has landed her first TV show and it's a big deal

Kaia Gerber has secured her first TV role and will join the American Horror Story cast. The supermodel will appear in the much-loved show’s tenth season, joining Adina Porter, Angelica Ross and Evan Peters to name a few.

Ryan Murphy, the show’s executive producer, shared the news on Instagram: “Very excited to announce that Kaia Gerber is joining the American Harry Story family. #AHS10 #AHSFX.”

Sarah Paulson will return to the acclaimed horror series, after taking a break during the ninth season. American Horror Story fans will be pleased to know that Murphy shared season 10's title 'Double Feature' with a creepy black and white clip of the beach.

He shared: "The title of American Horror Story 10 is Double Feature. Two horrifying stories…one season. One by the sea… One by the sand. More to come…"

The role marks Gerber’s first big acting job. She has previously starred in short videos for various fashion brands, but has never appeared in a TV series or film. Also new to the AHS franchise is Macaulay Culkin, who is still best known for his starring role in the Home Alone movies.

American Horror Story, which has seen its cast locked in haunted houses and asylums, is famous for attracting unexpected celebrity appearances, including Lady Gaga, Stevie Nicks and Naomi Campbell. Show regulars including Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates and Sarah Paulson.

Each season explores a different horror theme, from covens to Nazis, to chilling effect. Since it first aired in October 2011, the series has been nominated for 95 Emmy Awards, winning 16.
